Job summary

Microwave Products Group (MPG) in Salisbury, MD is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing team onsite. You will maintain the general ledger, assist with month-end close, and support inventory and cost accounting activities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. CPA progress is a plus. Eligible to earn a discretionary bonus; base pay reflects the Salisbury location and market norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Understanding of GAAP and basic cost accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Support inventory accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
