Job summary

Key Cooperative seeks a Staff Accountant to join our Roland, Iowa team. You will participate in daily corporate accounting activities and support intercompany transfers while maintaining accurate records and balances.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily ACH & Wire processing.
• Intercompany bank transfers.
• Creation of daily bank deposit and related bank transfer.
• Balancing of internal accounts and supplier prepaid accounts.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Running day and month end process.
• Perform year end close duties and assist with data for year-end audit.
• Balancing monthly vendor statements and large vendor processing.
• Balancing leases and maintenance of lease spreadsheet.

We are currently hiring a Staff Accountant to join our team in Roland, Iowa (15 miles NE of Ames, Iowa). In this role, you will be involved in the corporate accounting function.

• Two- or four-year accounting degree or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• An outstanding work ethic with ability to pay attention to the details
• Ability to always project a positive attitude to customers and employees while providing outstanding and courteous customer service.

What you will be doing:

Education and/or Experience:

2 – 4 year accounting degree or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
