Spectrum Search Group has partnered with an excellent professional services company in Richardson looking to add a Staff Accountant.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
• Work with large sets of data and transactions related to credit card recs and expenses.
• Responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, reversing entries, and account analysis.
• Enhance internal controls and streamline accounting processes.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and legal teams to present clear financial insights.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2-3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with multi-state/unit exposure.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of general ledger accounting.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

After 6 months of employment, the company offers 1 day of work from home.

Depending on experience and skill set, this role will pay $65k - $85k + bonus.
