Job summary

PeopleShare is partnering with a leading Supply Chain & Manufacturing Technology company to hire a Temp - Staff Accountant in Princeton, NJ. This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and a contract through March 2027 with potential for permanent hire.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of staff/senior accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant experience.
• Strong experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong experience with account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards
• Collaborate with multiple departments and shared service teams
• Assist with various accounting projects and reporting initiatives
• Work independently after training while maintaining accuracy and deadlines
