GlyMed Plus is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing skincare company with a collaborative culture. You will support the Controller, maintain the general ledger, perform month-end close tasks, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

The role emphasizes process improvement, internal controls, and close collaboration across departments to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting.
• Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the general ledger by completing assigned month-end close tasks, prepare account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Complete ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting processes and incorporate procedural improvements when necessary.
• Process, update and maintain accrual reporting.
• Maintain W-9 files.
• Generate annual 1099s.
• Prepare required schedules and documentation for external auditors.
• Customer interactions with credits.
• Prepare, interpret and analyze financial data.
• Data cleansing to maintain and support accurate forecasting.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

This is a critical team role for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, andcommitted to maintaining accurate financial records while supporting continuous processimprovement. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Controller and other departmentsto ensure financial integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.
