Job summary

Role Description

The Staff Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, TX. This position is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting activities, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, maintaining general ledger accuracy, and assisting with month-end and year-end close. The Staff Accountant will review and process invoices, expense reports, and payments, ensure proper documentation and coding, and support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. The role includes preparing routine financial reports, assisting with audits, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and collaborating with operations and leadership to provide accurate financial data. The Staff Accountant will also help identify process improvements, support special projects, and ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational accounting skills, including general ledger maintenance, journal entry posting, account reconciliations, and familiarity with GAAP.
