Job summary

Ascendo-Resources' client in Orlando, FL is hiring a Staff Accountant with QuickBooks or Sage experience. This onsite, direct-hire role offers close collaboration with the CFO and a hands-on accounting focus in a growing organization.

Responsibilities include journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting A/R, A/P, and fixed assets while ensuring GAAP compliance. Strong Excel and ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• QuickBooks or Sage experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
