LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Oakland, California to fill a Staff Accountant position. This role is 100% in-office with free parking and requires a strong focus on AP/AR and general ledger maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of accounting experience, be proficient with QuickBooks and NetSuite, and possess solid GAAP knowledge. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers healthcare benefits and paid time off in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or an Associate degree with additional experience
• Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
• Solid general accounting and GAAP principles
• Attention to detail, problem-solver, and analytical
• Excellent written & verbal communication and team player
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and NetSuite would be beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a one of our clients located in Oakland, California looking to fill a Staff Accountant job. The job is 100% in-office and parking is free! The right candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as an Accountant with an emphasis on accounts payable and accounts receivable and be comfortable with a small team. The role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, analyze and create financial reports for AP and AR, maintenance of the general ledger, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred or an Associate Degree with additional experience
• Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
• Solid general accounting and GAAP principles
• Attention to detail, problem-solver, and analytical
• Excellent communications skills written & verbal and a team player
• Software experience with Quickbooks and NetSuite experience would be beneficial
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced able to do pivot tables and vlookups)

Experience: 5 years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant, Accounting Specialist, Accounting Clerk)

Employment Type: Temp to Perm

Pay Details: $33.00 to $37.00 per hour
