Job summary

Landing Point, a New York-based investment and advisory firm, seeks a Staff Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple entities. The role offers hybrid work and travel, reporting to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities include accounts payable, vendor setup, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and data integrity checks in Addepar and Sage Intacct. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 1–3+ years of accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience; funds/financial services a plus.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, or Addepar preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable cycle including invoice intake, review, coding, and approvals.
• Administer Bill.com for vendor setup and payments.
• Oversee corporate card activity and ensure policy compliance for all transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries in Sage Intacct and assist monthly and quarterly close procedures.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash positions.
• Record transactions in Addepar and support data integrity checks and reconciliations.
• Maintain consistent accounting policies and support external audits.

Compensation: Salary: $100,000 – $120,000, Plus Bonus
