Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an accounting professional to strengthen the foundation of our finance team in New Haven. You will be involved in the monthly close, intercompany activities, fixed assets, leases, and consolidation work.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, strong analytical skills, and experience with GAAP. You will collaborate across finance, operations and shared services to drive accuracy and process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and practical accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, GAAP knowledge; comfortable with Excel and financial systems.
• Collaborative, detail-minded approach with ability to learn, meet deadlines and communicate across teams.

What You’ll Do

• Partner across the business to investigate accounting issues, provide answers and support the needs of finance, operations and shared-services teams.
• Strengthen how we work by supporting audits, improving processes and controls, and contributing to accounting projects and improvements.

What You’ll Bring

• A solid accounting foundation, supported by a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and practical accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including knowledge of GAAP and comfort working with Excel and financial systems.
• A collaborative, detail-minded approach with the ability to learn, manage deadlines and communicate effectively across teams.

Even Better If You Bring

Experience with OneStream or similar finance systems, exposure to a manufacturing, multi-divisional or shared-services environment, or progress toward your CPA.

The annualized salary for this role is $70,000–$90,000, with final pay determined based on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role.
