Job summary

AMBRION is partnering with a rapidly growing, mission-driven organization in Minnesota to add a Staff Accountant to its accounting team. You’ll work on reconciliations, journal entries, treasury activities, month-end close, and other projects as the organization implements new systems and processes.

This role suits an early‑career accountant seeking stronger technical foundations and broader exposure, with the Twin Cities base and Minnesota residency or relocation required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Download daily banking activity reports and archive financial records securely.
• Prepare weekly customer check deposits for bank processing.
• Post daily banking transactions and journal entries into the ERP system.
• Address automated bank notices, returned transactions, and account inquiries.
• Upload daily payment files to banking portals for fraud prevention compliance.
• Record monthly accrual entries, fixed asset depreciation, and prepaid amortizations.
• Process payroll allocation templates and post corresponding ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts using close-management software.
• Support month-end close workflows and annual multi-area audit requests.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

1-3+ years of accounting experience

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000
• This role is also eligible for various benefits, including: Medical Insurance

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
