Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing Accounting and Finance team. This newly created position offers hands-on training and exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements.

You will work closely with the Controller and gain experience across multiple accounting systems while developing your skills and advancing with the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Recent grads or 0–3 years accounting experience encouraged.
• GAAP understanding.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with learning new accounting systems (technology friendly).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central or other accounting systems is a plus.
• Public accounting, construction, service industry, or percentage-of-completion experience is a plus.
• Interest in process improvement, automation, or AI technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Support financial reporting and assist with variance analysis.
• Assist with annual audit preparation, including schedules and supporting documentation.
• Gain exposure to percentage-of-completion accounting and project-related financial reporting.
• Work across multiple accounting systems to extract information and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team to improve processes and reporting efficiency.
• Assist with special projects and additional accounting responsibilities as the organization continues to grow.

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting and Finance team. This is a newly created position due to continued company growth and an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or someone with a couple of years of experience looking to develop their career.
