Job summary

CFS, a Wisconsin-based, 100% employee-owned manufacturer, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a strong accounting team. You will perform general ledger reconciliations, close activities, and support monthly financial statements in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You'll work with accounting and operations, enjoy a culture focused on quality and teamwork, and participate in ESOP/profit-sharing and competitive benefits as you grow your career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, including internship or public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and account analysis.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash reconciliations, and other daily accounting functions.
• Assist with inventory accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and other manufacturing-related accounting activities.
• Partner with the accounting team to research discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial records.
