A., Cedric & Michaels CPAs in Marquette, Michigan seeks a Staff Accountant to join their team. After onboarding, there may be a hybrid work arrangement combining in-office collaboration with remote work to fit client needs.

You'll work with clients across banking, not-for-profit, and government sectors, review financial documents, plan audits, and assist in reporting files. A bachelor's in accounting and CPA consideration are preferred; MS Office and QuickBooks experience required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
• CPA Candidates and CPAs encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience with business accounting software is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work with clients in industries such as banks, credit unions, insurance, government, and not-for-profits.
• Review client financial/tax documentation and audit workpapers.
• Plan financial audits by understanding objectives, policies, processes and controls.
• Participate in all audit phases and mentor with Partners/Managers.
• Assist in preparing management reports on scope and funds usage.

A., Cedric & Michaels CPAs seek a Staff Accountant to join their team in Marquette, Michigan. After completing the initial onboarding and training period, there may be opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement, with time split between the office and remote work based on client needs and commitments.

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE.

• Work with clients in such industries as banks, credit unions, insurance, government, and not-for-profit organizations.
• Review client financial/tax documentation and audit workpapers.
• Plan financial audits by understanding organization objectives, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations.
• Participate in all phases of an audit (planning, control analysis, testing, and substantive procedures).
• Work side-by-side with Partners and Managers for mentoring.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for management concerning scope of audit, financial conditions found, and source and application of funds.
