Qualifications

• CPA license or active CPA licensure path.
• Minimum 2 years of experience at a CPA firm preferred.
• Strong tax and accounting skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and multi-state returns.
• Perform tax research and assist with planning.
• Prepare disclosures and stay current on tax law changes.
• Work in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and other systems.
• Assist with month-end close and financial statements.
• Improve client accounting processes and provide direct client support.
• Exposure to accounting method changes (3115), foreign reporting, multi-state issues, audit support, and retirement plan strategy.
• Some hands-on accounting and light bookkeeping due to non-siloed structure.

Job Responsibilities Include

Tax & Advisory

• Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and multi-state returns
• Perform tax research and assist with planning
