Base pay range

We are seeking a detail-oriented IPA Staff Accountant with healthcare experience to join our IPA Accounting Team. This role will support month-end close procedures, manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and process capitation revenue by GL code and business line. The ideal candidate is organized, proficient in Excel, and comfortable working closely with a finance team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monthly close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Process capitation revenue allocations across health plans and business lines
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and perform bank reconciliations
• Support financial reporting and maintain schedules for audits
• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial summaries and analysis
• Ensure accuracy of GL coding by health plan and business line
• Help prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
• Proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS required)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
