Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Staff Accountant in Long Beach, CA for an on-site consulting role. The position pays $32 to $42 per hour and supports a growing consumer goods company with day-to-day accounting activities.

Job Details

Support day-to-day general accounting activities, including:

• Journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
• Month-end close and financial reporting
• Variance analysis and intercompany reconciliations
• GL and subledger maintenance
• Audit, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
• Strong Excel skills, including intermediate-level VLOOKUP and pivot tables

• Experience working with multiple entities
