Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Staff Accountant for our client in Littleton, NH. This permanent role focuses on AP/AR, General Ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

You will prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, assist with monthly/year-end close, and support audits and regulatory reporting. 1+ year experience and strong Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP
• Process and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions as needed
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Identify process improvements, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
