Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant in Lexington, MA, onsite. You will handle day-to-day AP, process vendor invoices, and support inventory-driven accounting in a long-standing distribution company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Prior P21 / Prophet 21 experience strongly preferred.
• Background in distribution, inventory, or a similar high-volume environment.
• Strong Accounts Payable and three-way matching experience.
• Working knowledge of inventory-related accounting processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and understanding of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day Accounts Payable activity in P21 / Prophet 21.
• Review and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
• Perform three-way matching and investigate discrepancies involving pricing, inventory, or receipts.
• Maintain vendor files, payment documentation, and required tax forms.
• Reconcile vendor issues and help ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Assist with additional accounting responsibilities and cross-functional projects as needed.
