Staff Accountant

Tang Industries, Inc. Position Summary:

TII is seeking a talented & dynamic individual to fill the position of Staff Accountant in our Las Vegas, Nevada office. The ideal candidate will be working collaboratively with TII Assistant Controller and a small group of very experienced treasury, tax, and legal professionals in Las Vegas and Chicago area offices. They will have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude to solve problems and challenges. The position will be responsible for supporting TII’s Accounting and Reporting function in performing the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly activities.

This position is based in TII’s Las Vegas office and is an onsite position with potential to work remotely on Friday following successful completion of onboarding and job training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, including assistance with consolidated financial statements and various schedules/statistics
• General Ledger Account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts for multiple ledgers
• Assist with annual external audits
• Daily invoice entry for a few corporate entities and assist in processing the payments.
• Daily cash reconciliations with banks and transfers
• Identify and support our continuous improvement initiatives
• Other ad-hoc requests

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business: Accounting concentration courses required if not an accounting degree
• 0-2 years of experience, that includes closing the books. Steel industry or general manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Microsoft Dynamics (GP and/or AX) ERP experience preferred
