Hybrid work model offered; investigators use Rightworks, GoFileRoom, UltraTax, Checkpoint CoCounsel and QuickBooks. Total compensation based on experience. Associates welcome; bachelor’s degree a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree or higher a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment.
• Solid written and verbal communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, and complex environment.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude, and able to work both independently AND as part of a team.
• Experience with UltraTax, GoFileRoom, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks a plus.

• Grow your technical and problem-solving skills through hands-on client work.
• Build relationships with clients and teammates, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the firm.
• Support partners and managers in delivering great service, including working directly with clients.
• Apply critical thinking and research skills to reach conclusions and make recommendations.

Snyder & Company is a fast-growing CPA firm in Lancaster, Ohio, that prides itself on being "not like other accountants." We're looking for a staff accountant to join our fun and unique culture. Did we mention we ditched timesheets 15 years ago? We also offer a hybrid work model, so you get the best of both the office and working from home. Our main software systems include Rightworks, GoFileRoom, UltraTax, Checkpoint CoCounsel and QuickBooks.

In this critical role, you will:

• Prepare tax returns and financial statements, handle bookkeeping and payroll tax filings, and take on whatever else comes your way
