What You'll Do:We are looking for a talented individual with strong analytical skills, multi-functional experience, experience in accounts payable, and experience in accounts receivable. The staff accountant is a combination of recurring and project-based work and is an integral part to supporting the growth of APR Supply Co.
Functional Responsibilities:- Process accounts payable for several vendors
- Complete the daily balances of the branch cash boxes and post any necessary journal entries
- Reconcile 3 bank accounts monthly
- Provide support for accounts receivable team
- Analyze credit card fees
- Support the month end close process
Required Knowledge, skills, & Abilities for Success:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3 years of experience with a medium to large scale company
- Strong accounting and/or finance background
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills focused on data analysis
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- People management skills
- Expected to work independently, working under the general direction of the Corporate Controller
- High level of professionalism coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, and Teams
