You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely payments, and clean reconciliations - while helping build and optimize accounting processes for scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable & Expense Management

  • Manage day-to-day AP workflows using Bill.com or equivalent platforms
  • Record and reconcile credit card transactions and receipts across all studio locations
  • Ensure timely vendor payments, coding accuracy, and documentation compliance

Month-End Close & Reconciliations

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
  • Support month-end close process across multi-entity environments

Revenue & Reporting Support

  • Reconcile studio-level revenue between POS systems (Mindbody, Hapana) and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Assist with royalty calculations and brand-level reporting
  • Prepare location-specific P&Ls and reports for review by the VP of Finance

Process & Controls Development

  • Help design and implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls
  • Maintain documentation and ensure consistency across studio financials
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve discrepancies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location environment (retail, wellness, or hospitality)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or progress toward certification is a plus)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience with AP tools such as Bill.com
  • Familiarity with membership-based or recurring revenue models
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
  • Experience with POS integrations and revenue reconciliation (Mindbody, Hapana, Zenoti, or similar)
  • Familiarity with royalty reporting or compliance processes
  • Prior experience working remotely with distributed U.S.-based teams

BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible remote schedule
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the organization.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Plan (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), etc.)
  • Supportive Leadership Team
