Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Accounting professional to support the Controller in accounting and regulatory reporting. You will reconcile accounts, review general ledger reports, and assist in payables and expense reporting.

Job Duties:

• Work closely with the Controller on accounting and regulatory reporting requirements, including reconciliation of accounts, review of various general ledger and internal system reports, review of payables and expenses and creating and distributing management and departmental reports.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital fluctuations.
• Conduct relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 2-4 years of experience, preferably in banking or financial services industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience
• Basic understanding of general accounting, cash management and accounts payable functions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in a high volume transactional environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Additional PC and software skills including Word
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
