Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite or similar ERP experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or multi-entity environments is a plus.
  • CPA or CPA-track candidates are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis, reporting, and insights that support business decisions.
  • Assist with external audits, regulatory reporting, and internal control compliance activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy.
