Job summary

Staffers Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our real estate development and investment firm in Jackson, MS. This role targets recent graduates or experienced bookkeepers seeking advancement and exposure to month-end close and financial record maintenance.

You will prepare journal entries, apply basic debit/credit concepts, and assist with A/P and A/R while supporting the team on special projects and general accounting tasks. Growth opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Recent college graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Up to 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
• Comfortable with journal entries and routine accounting transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting department.
