Job summary

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting is seeking a Staff Accountant to gain broad accounting exposure within a growing organization. This role covers general ledger, month-end close, fixed assets and cost/project accounting.

You will work with ERP systems (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and Excel to prepare financial statements, perform reconciliations, support audit and tax, and help improve processes. A CPA path is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Strong GL, journal entry and account reconciliation experience.
• Month-end and year-end close experience.
• Financial statement preparation.
• Experience with cost accounting, project accounting and/or percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis exposure.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, lookups and formulas).
• Experience with QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or similar ERP.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
