Job summary

Canam Group Inc. seeks an accounting professional to prepare and analyze financial data for IFRS-based reporting. You will reconcile payroll and sales tax, support monthly reporting to the parent, and assist with audits and process improvements.

The role requires a B.S. degree, 2+ years accounting experience, and strong Excel/Sheets skills in a collaborative environment with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good organizational skills to ensure timely goal completion and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and record weekly payroll transactions and related month-end journal entries.
• Reconcile and analyze monthly sales tax activities to support compliance processes.
• Assist with submission of required financial reporting to the parent company.
• Participate in the improvement of assigned accounting processes and procedures.
• Assist with related audits and preparation of audit schedules and requests from auditors.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Description
