Job summary

AZZ Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. You’ll perform day-to-day accounting work, partner with business units, and help ensure accurate close processes.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting A/R, A/P and payroll while ensuring SOX compliance. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with strong Excel skills and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Fundamental accounting, internal controls, and SOX knowledge.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Job Description

AZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant at our Fort Worth Texas corporate office. Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, you’ll be responsible for performing day-to-day functions for the corporate accounting department. This position works closely with the corporate business units to ensure accounting issues are appropriately identified, analyzed, documented, and resolved.
