Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing finance team in Ohio. You will contribute to month-end close, financial reporting, and cost accounting activities, while partnering with operations to analyze production costs.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel and ERP skills to support inventory and fixed assets. This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Support inventory accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Assist with cost accounting, product costing and variance analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation accounting.
• Collaborate with operations to analyze manufacturing costs and improve reporting.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
