Job summary

CFS in Moon Township, PA is hiring a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day General Ledger activities and month-end close. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and team, gaining broad exposure across accounting and finance while maintaining a strong work/life balance in a manufacturing setting.

The role offers visibility, opportunities to expand skills, and backup support for AP/AR as needed. A 2+ year GL background and a manufacturing background are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience with hands-on General Ledger experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (Infor SyteLine a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare account reconciliations and support the day-to-day management of the General Ledger.
• Analyze overhead and burden rates to support financial reporting and decisions.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and other accounting initiatives.
• Support the accounting team with special projects as needed.
