Job summary

Digicomm International is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, tax filings, and audit activities across multiple entities.

Minimum 2–3 years in accounting plus AR experience is required. Strong Excel and MS Office skills are essential; Sage 100 experience is a plus. This on-site Colorado position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Experience reconciling balance sheet and income statement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in period close by reconciling assigned general ledger accounts with documentation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and entities.
• Prepare detailed credit card reconciliations.
• File multi-state/multi-entity sales & use tax returns.
• Prepare and file multi-state/multi-entity personal property tax returns.
• Conduct reconciliations of assets, liabilities, and capital accounts.
• Assist with annual financial audits and audit inquiries.
• Manage full cycle fixed assets.
• Data entry for orders and vendor POs.
• Prepare inventory cost analysis for custom product builds.
• Provide accounting data insights to the manager and prepare reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we'll expect from you and what you'll be doing:

• Assist in the period close by reconciling assigned general ledger accounts while ensuring all transactions are well-documented
• Prepare bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts across multiple entities
• Prepare detailed credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and file multi-state and multi-entity sales and use tax returns
• Prepare and file multi-state and multi-entity personal property tax returns
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account reconciliations by compiling and analyzing general ledger account information
• Assist with annual financial audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
• Manage full cycle fixed assets.
• Data entry, including processing customer sales orders and creating vendor purchase orders for subsidiaries
• Prepare inventory cost analysis to prepare and post custom product builds
• Provide information to the Accounting Manager by researching and analyzing accounting data
• Preparing reports and reconciling discrepancies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Direct experience with accounts receivable
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Experience reconciling both balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
• Sage 100 Experience preferred, but not required
• Willingness to remain flexible and adapt to change as we continue to grow as a company

What you can expect from us:

This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 per year and the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus based on personal and team performance. The salary range will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
