Job summary

Jobot seeks a Staff Accountant in El Monte, CA for an on-site role with a consulting firm. You will handle day-to-day general accounting activities, including journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, and intercompany activity.

We require a Bachelor's in accounting/Finance or 5 years of Staff Accountant experience, strong Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables), and experience with SAGE 300. You will join a team offering comprehensive benefits and bonus opportunities.

Job Details

Staff Accountant – General Accounting

Support day-to-day general accounting activities, including:

• Journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations


• Month-end close and financial reporting


• Variance analysis and intercompany reconciliations


• GL and subledger maintenance


• Audit, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant


• Strong Excel skills, including intermediate-level VLOOKUP and pivot tables


• Experience with SAGE 300


• Experience working with multiple entities
