Responsibilities

  • Preparing bank reconciliations for each of the communities throughout the month.
  • Preparing monthly recurring entries such as depreciation and payroll entries.
  • Preparing intercompany due to/due from for each community.
  • Assisting with cash projection reports.
  • Preparing revenue and accounts receivable entry from subsidiary ledger.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts.
  • Reviewing accounts payable invoices.
  • Preparing documentation for external parties as needed.
  • Assisting with budget preparation as needed.

Skills

Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read and analyze financial reports
Experience with Acumatica software preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
2 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing bank reconciliations for each of the communities throughout the month
  • Preparing monthly recurring entries such as depreciation, prepaids, management fees and payroll entries
  • Preparing intercompany due to / due from for each of the communities
  • Assisting with cash projection reports for each of the communities
  • Preparing revenue and accounts receivable entry from subsidiary ledger
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts
  • Reviewing accounts payable invoices
  • Preparing and providing documentation for external parties as needed
  • Assist with budget preparation as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned
Education
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
    • Will consider two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Experience
