Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciliations, month-end close, and preparing journal entries. You will be working closely with our finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.

Responsibilities

• Performing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings and reporting.
• Preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyzing financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.
• Reviewing all inter-company transactions and generating invoices as necessary.
• Assisting with internal and external auditing procedures.
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures.
• Playing a key role in the continuous improvement of our financial processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software and databases.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong reconciliation skills and experience with month-end close and journal entries.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
