Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire role in Dearborn, Michigan. The candidate will work onsite daily, handling full-charge AP/AR/GL, month-end close, and reconciliations for diverse entities.

This is a growth-focused opportunity in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with tax software as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3+ years of full-charge AP/AR/GL experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables and V-Lookups) required.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters tax software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes end-to-end.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Support tax filings for corporations, partnerships and individuals.

Kforce is partnering with a firm in the Dearborn, Michigan (MI) area that is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team on a direct hire basis. Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3 plus years of experience with full charge accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, month end through tax returns for corporations, partnerships and individuals
• Advanced Excel (Pivot tables and V-Lookups)
• Thomas Reuters tax software is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
