Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Staff Accountant in Coppell, TX, to join our growing finance team. The role focuses on compiling and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with maintaining GL integrity through complex journal entries.

The successful candidate will perform reconciliations across bank, AP/AR, and intercompany accounts, support month-end close, and ensure ASC 842 lease accounting compliance. A bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of GL experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years GL accounting experience.
• Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
• Maintain general ledger integrity with complex journal entries.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, AP/AR, and intercompany transactions.
• Assist in month end close processes.
• Ensure ASC 842 lease accounting compliance.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through the preparation and posting of complex journal entries
• Perform complex reconciliations of various accounts, such as bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany transactions, and resolve any discrepancies
• Responsible for assisting in month end close
• Ensure compliance with ASC 842 lease accounting standards

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of general ledger (GL) accounting experience
• Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel
