Job summary

Circle K Shared Services in the United States is seeking a Sales Tax Staff or Senior to analyze sales/use tax source documents and prepare return calculations and related journal entries for review by the onshore Sales Tax Team.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with ERP data (PDI), and the ability to maintain tax calendars to ensure timely remittance of all sales taxes, while adhering to SOX controls and internal security policies.

Qualifications

• Sales tax experience is a plus if Staff and a must if Senior.
• Must be computer literate in Word and an advanced Excel user.
• Experience with PDI and Vertex or Avalara a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize detailed information.
• Proficient at problem solving and data analysis.
• Strong time management skills.

Position Summary

Analyze sales/use tax source documents and prepare sales/use tax return calculations and related journal entries for review by the onshore Sales Tax Team members as well as adhering to and updating a monthly tax calendar to ensure all sales taxes are remitted timely.
