Qualifications

• Exposure to partnership accounting, private funds, or real estate is a plus.
• Prior experience in public accounting or a public accounting internship is preferred.
• Candidates with a background in audit or assurance, particularly those with exposure to investment funds or financial services clients, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and cash reconciliations across multiple funds.
• Monitor daily cash activity and assist with cash management processes.
• Support maintenance of investor capital account balances under supervision.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly investor reporting and deliverables.
• Prepare investor capital account statements using fund accounting systems.
• Contribute to quarterly reporting and annual GAAP financial statement preparation.
• Support audit and tax processes by coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including fund managers and legal advisors.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to support accounting and reporting activities across a diverse portfolio of private investment funds.
