Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Staff Accountant to join our team in Wisconsin. The role offers a salary of $75,000-$90,000 plus a ~4% annual bonus, and a hybrid schedule with one day of remote work per week.

You will gain broad corporate accounting experience in a business spanning construction, real estate, and aviation. We value tenure and provide a 5% employer retirement contribution, profit sharing, and a structured annual bonus.

Qualifications

• At least three years of accounting experience; construction industry experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, tax reporting, and financial systems; Vista Viewpoint experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and financial reports to support monthly and year-end reporting.
• Prepare and coordinate tax filings, including sales and use taxes, employment tax returns, W-2s, and 1099s.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules for financial reporting and tax purposes.
• Review invoices for appropriate sales and use tax treatment and manage corporate credit applications.
• Support year-end financial statement reviews, subcontractor prequalification, and payroll coverage as needed.
