Job summary

What You’ll Actually Do

• Financial Closing: Conduct month-end close procedures, including journal entries, without supervision, and actively participate in quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
• Asset Management: Maintain the fixed asset ledger, manage depreciation calculations, and perform associated reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Report on diverse financial data, ensuring clear and understandable communication, and manage the design of balance sheet analyses for management.
• Compliance: Participate in the implementation and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures, ensuring full compliance with GAAP.
• Reconciliation & Entries: Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations for various accounts, including cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Accounting or Finance, with comprehensive knowledge of general ledger and GAAP.
• Experience: 1-3 years of Staff Accountant experience, including proven knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, MS Dynamics, or NetSuite.
• Skills: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and communication skills; and a self-driven, flexible, and organized approach to work with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Bonus: Budget management experience.
