• Perform monthly reconciliations and act as backup for accounts payable.
• Project financial trends including annual forecasts.
• Assist with operating and salary budgets; monitor annual grants and fund transactions.
• Maintain accounting records for endowment and restricted/unrestricted funds.
• Assist with audit preparation.

Staff Accountant for Non-Profit in New Jersey

My client, a non for profit located in Caldwell, New Jersey is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their firm. The firm has been in existence since the 1930’s and offers significant opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Review and analyze budget, identifying budget issues and providing solutions.
• Assist with month, quarter and year end closing responsibilities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Monthly reconciliations
• Act as backup for Accounts Payable
