About us

Grigg, Bratton & Brash, P.C.is a niche CPA firm focused on the real estate industry, with a specialty in affordable housing and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties. We’re a small, close-knit local team, and we’re growing. That means steady work, real responsibility early on, and a direct line to the partners. We also mean it when we say work-life balance: reasonable hours, a predictable workload, and a team that respects your time outside the office.

What you’ll do
  • Perform audit procedures on financial statements for real estate partnerships and LIHTC properties
  • Prepare partnership and other business tax returns
  • Analyze account reconciliations, workpapers, and supporting documentation
  • Help with compliance reporting for investors, lenders, and housing agencies
  • Work directly with clients and property managers to gather information and resolve questions
  • Grow into more complex engagements as you build skills
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or close to completing it)
  • 0–3 years of public accounting experience; new grads welcome
  • CPA-eligible or working toward the CPA (we’ll support you)

  • Interest in real estate, or curiosity to learn a specialized niche
  • Someone who likes working as part of a small team and takes ownership of their work
  • Comprehensive benefits: health and dental insurance, a retirement plan with employer match, and unlimited PTO
  • CPA support: exam fees covered, paid study time, and a bonus when you pass
  • Genuine work-life balance: busy season is busy, but the rest of the year is predictable with Fridays off in the summer
  • Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced CPAs
  • Exposure to both audit and tax, not just one or the other
  • Room to grow as the firm grows
