Looking to join a fast‑growing private firm where accounting plays a critical role in supporting investment activity and business growth? The Staff Accountant will work closely with accounting and finance leadership to support fund and corporate accounting operations, cash management, and reporting. This role is highly collaborative, offers strong visibility, and is ideal for someone early in their career who is intellectually curious, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll do

• Monitor daily cash activity and prepare wire transactions.
• Assist with capital calls and cash funding processes.
• Perform fund accounting and corporate accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Partner with offshore services team in India on special projects and ongoing initiatives.
• Support accounting and finance leadership with reporting, analyses, and process improvements.
• Maintain and analyze financial data within Sage Intacct.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to scaling accounting operations as the firm grows.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA (exams passed required).
• 1.5–2 years of Big 4 audit experience.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and fund and/or corporate accounting.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.
• Intellectually curious, self‑motivated, proactive, and pleasant to work with; strong communicator and team player.

Compensation

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000 per year, with flexibility based on experience.
