Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage month-end processes for multiple residential properties. This role offers ownership of financial tasks and exposure to month-end close and reporting in a collaborative team.

You will record entries, reconcile accounts, review results, and support audits, while working across property teams to deepen accounting expertise in real estate operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Background in property or real estate accounting.
• Experience with accounting or property management systems.
• Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for assigned properties.
• Record journal entries and support general ledger activity.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Review financial results and investigate variances.
