Job summary

Lemonade Stand Accounting in Atlanta is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day bookkeeping, tax preparation, and client-facing financial reporting for growth-stage clients. Hybrid schedule with in-office time and remote work.

You will work with leadership as the CAS offering scales, manage full-cycle bookkeeping, maintain ledgers in QuickBooks Online, and support tax workflows during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business or related field.
• 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (public accounting or outsourced accounting firm experience a plus); or a related internship if you are a recent accounting graduate.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
• Solid understanding of GAAP fundamentals and month-end close processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working directly with clients.
• Spanish fluency a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client deliverables and deadlines.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset. As a growing firm, everyone contributes beyond their job title.

The Role

We're looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team and support day-to-day bookkeeping, tax preparation, and client-facing financial reporting for a portfolio of growth-stage business clients. This role is based in the Atlanta Metro area on a hybrid schedule, with regular in-office time balanced with remote work. You'll work closely with our leadership team as we scale our CAS offering.

What You'll Do

• Familiarity with practice management tools or tax software. Preferably Canopy and UltraTax
• Interest in advisory-level work as we build out our CAS service line
• Advanced education or credentials like an EA or CPA
