• Support accounts payable, corporate credit card, and employee reimbursements (Bill.com).
• Assist with audit schedules, Form 990 support, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant

• Process and reconcile cash receipts, donor contributions, grants, distributions, and other revenue transactions
• Prepare weekly deposits and investigate discrepancies with internal stakeholders
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger documentation
• Support accounts payable, corporate credit card, and employee reimbursement processing through Bill.com
• Assist with audit schedules, Form 990 support, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requested

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and large dataset reconciliation
• Experience with accounting systems; Sage Intacct and Bill.com experience is a plus
