Job summary

W3Global in Addison, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Controller with daily accounting: payables, customer invoicing, driver pay settlements, and posting ACH and card payments in a fast-paced office. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years full-cycle GL experience, 1+ year public accounting, and strong QuickBooks and Excel skills.

• Handle payables, 100+ vendor invoices weekly.

Job description

The Staff Accountant reports to the Controller and handles the daily accounting work that keeps our operation balanced and on schedule: payables (100+ vendor invoices a week), customer invoicing, driver pay settlements, posting ACH and credit card payments, rebills and credits, vendor and customer setup, and support on the month-end close and GL reconciliations. We need someone detail-oriented, process-driven and dependable, who stays accurate under deadlines in a fast-paced office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting preferred
• 3+ years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience
• 1+ year of public accounting experience (required)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• CPA or CPA-track a plus
• TriumphPay or transportation/logistics experience a plus
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication; fluent in English
• Able to commute reliably to our office in Addison, TX, on-site Monday-Friday. We've had turnover due to the length of commute - so it must be someone close.

Compensation is $60,000-$70,000 based on experience, plus full benefits. We do not offer relocation or sponsorship.
