Procore Technologies Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the production photogrammetry pipeline within our Core CV team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in 3D Computer Vision or 3D ML systems in production.
• Deep knowledge of SfM, MVS, SLAM, mesh texturing, depth estimation.
• Experience with agentic development and modern AI coding tools.
• Experience setting technical direction and mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency in C++ and modern ML frameworks; cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, evaluation, and deployment of production photogrammetry pipeline (feature detection, SfM, MVS, mesh reconstruction).
• Drive integration and evaluation of emerging 3D reconstruction approaches (Gaussian splatting, foundation 3D models).
• Optimize 3D systems for speed, accuracy, robustness across high-volume workloads.
• Balance classical and learned approaches for business challenges.
• Own end-to-end investigations from triage to production rollout and maintenance.
• Set technical bar with code reviews, architecture guidance, observability (metrics, logs, dashboards).
• Mentor engineers and grow a sub-team.
