Job summary

The Kansas City Current is seeking an attentive security team member to uphold safety for employees and guests at the stadium and Riverfront area. You will screen entrants, monitor access points, and report incidents to maintain a secure environment throughout events.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a background check with licensure, a valid driver’s license, and the capacity to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a background check and obtain KCMO Private Police Commission License.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in sports/entertainment security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet employees and guests with a smile and friendly attitude.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment and screen entries.
• Log shift activities and investigate security incidents.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems and respond to incidents.
• Escort visitors and enforce stadium policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergencies following established protocols.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas to deter crime and ensure order.
